Description

Swarna takes its name from the Hindu word for gold.
This regal design references the art of goldwork embroidery used by craftsmen in India to create elaborate designs on heavy silks, velvets and satins using metal threads of gold silver and copper.
The design sees vertical rows of copper coloured stylized flowers interlaced with lustrous jewelled ornamentation.
Swarna's background is created from hundreds of small gold coins which impart radiance, texture and depth.
